In our last newsletter I shared a little about my background and some of my work experience… this newsletter I want to share with you, my passion!  For years growing up I was a shy girl, for those that know me would question this sentiment, but my mom assures me of this.  I have the memories too, because when I was age 7, I was enrolled in an etiquette class with my sister to develop habits to bring me out of my shell.  We learned things like manners and conversational greetings as well as things like walking and posture to build up social confidence.

Fast forward to early elementary school when friendships start forming, this is where all things changed for me!! I joined girl scouts and a co-ed basketball team as extra circular activities. This is where I gain self-confidence developing a passion for community and comradery!!  I consider myself an ambivert (between an introvert and extrovert) because I have tendencies of both.

Friendships and meaningful connections mean a lot to me.  Often when inspired by someone you feel a sense of kinship to them, a kindred bond forms, these relationships have been a focus to foster throughout my life.  Some of my closest friends date back to elementary/middle/high school and now church friends, college friends, and friends from early on in my career have known more than half my journey, many still in contact today!  This is the community we are building!
